Policy Intern
Katrina Yang is a master’s candidate in the Asian Studies Program at Georgetown University, concentrating in Politics and Security. Her academic focus centers on U.S.-China relations and Taiwan, with particular interest in security policy and cross-Strait dynamics. She previously interned at the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), where she supported U.S.-Taiwan engagement. In addition, she has conducted policy research on European Union industrial and energy regulations, translating complex policy developments into concise briefs for stakeholders. Katrina is passionate about strengthening U.S.-Taiwan relations and advancing Taiwan’s democratic resilience through policy research and advocacy.
