索拉茲夫妻 台灣結緣一世情
索拉茲任眾議員將近二十年，曾為眾院外交委員會亞太小組主席，這個位子對台灣特別重要。當時台灣還在戒嚴時期，他多次挺身為台灣講話，在國會舉辦如江南案、陳文成教授案等台灣重大政治事件的聽證會，公開挑戰國民黨權威，是國會四劍客之一，至今仍為台、美兩岸台灣人所感念。
