We are Bringing Emerging Leaders in Policy from the U.S. to Taiwan!
Program Overview
The Emerging Leaders Workshop (ELW) is our flagship program that brings emerging leaders from Taiwan to Washington, D.C. to learn about U.S.-Taiwan-China relations. FAPA has cultivated more than 150 emerging leaders thus far, including Member of LY Wang Ting-yu, City Councilors Ying-meng Lin, and Jiho Chang. This year, we are launching the reverse experience – bringing emerging leaders from the U.S. to Taiwan. This weeklong workshop aims to provide emerging leaders in international relations and policy with an in-depth understanding of Taiwan’s complexities by exploring history and diverse perspectives on its geopolitical, economic, security and cultural landscape.
