The National Advocacy Conference is our flagship program and an excellent opportunity for FAPA members to acquire advocacy skills, become knowledgeable in U.S.-Taiwan policy, and participate in civic engagement.
Each year, FAPA members across the United States will meet in Washington, D.C., for our three-day conference. Through lectures and discussions on U.S.-Taiwan relations, the conference educates FAPA members about U.S.-Taiwan policy and provides them with the skills to advocate for Taiwan to their congressional representatives.
This year, the conference will occur between September 30 and October 2 near the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). We are expecting distinguished experts and policymakers to speak with us.

Your registration is considered complete after we receive your full payment.
HQ will send an email to you, which contains your advocacy group, instructions on how to make congressional appointments, and this year’s issues of concern.
Discuss with your group members and make appointments with your Representatives.

- Prof. Yao-Yuan Yeh (葉耀元) on the U.S. policies & strategies on Cross-Strait Issues from 3 – 5 p.m.
- Dinner Banquet: 6 p.m.

It is time to voice out for Taiwan!
Advocacy Group & Materials
Once registered, you will be assigned to an advocacy group with people from the same state. We will send you the group assignment with other advocacy materials on September 8.
Congressional Meetings
We expect attendees to reach out to their elected officials and have meetings, where they will have a chance to display the advocacy skills they have acquired from the workshops.
