Alex Liu is an undergraduate student at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. He plans to major in Regional and Comparative Studies with a focus on Asia. He is interested in cross-strait relations, small state diplomacy, and Mandarin Chinese. He is also a writer for the Caravel, Georgetown University’s only international affairs newspaper. His most recent piece was “Peace, Love, and Pandas: the Halt of Panda Diplomacy in Japan”.

In his spare time, Alex is a clarinetist in the Georgetown University Pep Band and Orchestra.
