Non-Resident Senior Policy Fellow
Chih-Jung Huang is a non-resident Senior Policy Fellow at FAPA. He focuses on legal and policy analysis related to U.S.-Taiwan-China relations, and advocates for normalizing U.S.-Taiwan ties and strengthening Taiwan’s statehood and international status.
He received his B.A. in Political Science and LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) from the National Taiwan University. He also earned his LL.M. (Master of Laws) and S.J.D. (Doctor of Juridical Science) from the University of Virginia School of Law, focusing on public international law.
His doctoral thesis mainly focused on the history and legal status of Taiwan. His other areas of interest include, among others, the U.S.-Taiwan-China relations and territorial changes and disputes in East and Inner Asia.
