Unfortunately Not Open To The Press

Multiple pieces of Taiwan legislation have been introduced in both houses of Congress just in the past months. During our May 15 event we will hear from Congressional staff and Taiwan specialists about the bills, and why their content is important for Taiwan and for Taiwanese Americans.

We will especially zero in on S811 – the Taiwan Fellowship Act, HCR21 calling for U.S.-Taiwan diplomatic relations, and HR2103 which designates Taiwan as a NATO PLUS member.

Join Mac Zimmerman, Office of Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI), Chris Fernandez, Office of Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA), and Richard Pearson, Founder of the Taiwan Fellowship Act campaign, for a fruitful discussion.

Speakers

  • Mac Zimmerman, Office of Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI)
  • Chris Fernandez, Office of Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA)
  • Richard Pearson, Founder of Taiwan Fellowship Act campaign

Moderator

  • Coen Blaauw, ED of Formosan Association for Public Relations
