Hanwei Wang is a graduate student at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs in Washington, D.C., where he is pursuing an M.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in International Economics. He holds a B.A. in International Relations from National Chengchi University in Taipei, complemented by an exchange year at the University of Edinburgh focused on sustainable development and public policy.

Hanwei brings hands-on experience across finance, administration, data, and government affairs. His portfolio included planning press conferences, hosting U.S. and European delegations, white-paper consultations with 25 cross-industry committees, and generating record-high membership directory sales. 

Fluent in Mandarin and English, with working knowledge of French, Hanwei is proficient in data analysis and widely used business platforms. His professional interests span international political economy, trade policy, supply chain resilience, and institutional governance, informed by research training and field experience across Asia, Europe, and North America.

Outside of academics and work, Hanwei is an avid tennis player who enjoys regular workouts, global travel, discovering specialty coffee shops, and exploring new food experiences.
