Steve Chabot asked Deputy Secretary of State Tony Blinken April 28, 2016 0729: Sherman’s Visit to China, Taiwan’s New Stealth Corvette July 29, 2021 This Post Has One Comment Dr. KF Lin 15 Jul 2021 What steps can be taken to further the tie between the US and Taiwan in defense, security, economics and technology for mutual interest? The US government does not recognize the Republic of China (ROC) as a state, but does recognize Taiwan as a de facto state. Right? Do you see a day that Taiwan shall become a de jure state recognized by the US? Would that also serve the national interest of the US? If so, what must be done in Taiwan and the US in the meantime to pave the way? Comments are closed.
