This petition requests members of Congress to urge the Federal Bureau of Investigation to list the Chinese-controlled “National Association for China’s Peaceful Unification” (NACPU) as a domestic terrorist organization and investigate its actions as a foreign agent for enabling violence and propaganda.
Our community is still reeling since the horrendous shooting at the Taiwanese Presbyterian Church on Sunday, May 15 in Laguna Woods, California.
It is now clear that the gunman is affiliated with the “National Association for China’s Peaceful Unification” (NACPU), a Chinese-controlled organization that promotes the annexation of Taiwan by China while fanning hatred toward Taiwanese people and pro-Taiwan supporters.
We invite you to send a petition to your elected officials requesting that they urge the Federal Bureau of Investigation to list the “National Association for China’s Peaceful Unification” as a domestic terrorist organization and investigate its actions as a foreign agent for enabling violence and propaganda.
We also believe it is important that the State Department demand accountability from the People’s Republic of China for the terrorist actions of its foreign missions and agents.
Lastly, ask members of Congress to call more attention to the fact that a foreign government, with a deep distrust of the United States, is actively sponsoring and directing the radicalization of individuals to the point where Taiwanese American citizens are targeted simply for their heritage, identity, and political beliefs.
