2026 NAC Student & Recent Graduate Scholarship Application
 

Up to $500 for Your Flight to Washington, DC

FAPA is offering a travel scholarship for current students and recent graduates attending the 2026 National Advocacy Conference (NAC) in Washington, DC. This scholarship is intended to help make NAC more accessible, equitable, and nationally representative — no matter where you are traveling from. 

Why We Are Offering This Scholarship

  • Expand access for students and recent graduates who may otherwise face financial barriers to attending NAC.
  • Encourage broader regional representation from across the country.
  • Support emerging leaders interested in policy, public service, civic engagement, grassroots advocacy, and U.S.-Taiwan relations.
  • Help participants fully engage in NAC programming and advocacy activities. 

Rules

  • The scholarship strictly covers airfare to and from Washington, DC, up to $500. 
  • Any airfare cost exceeding $500 must be covered by the applicant. 
  • The scholarship cannot be used for upgrades, hotels, meals, or other add-on expenses. 

Eligibility 

Applicants must meet the following requirements: 

  • Be a current U.S. college or university student (undergraduate or graduate school), either full-time or part-time, or a recent graduate from the class of 2025 or 2026. 
  • Register to attend NAC and participate in its entirety, including Monday. 
  • Travel by airplane from within the United States to Washington, DC.  
  • Provide proof of current enrollment or graduation, as well as a receipt for flight expenses. 
  • Not receiving travel subsidies from a local FAPA chapter. 
Priority will be given to applicants traveling more than 200 miles to Washington, DC.
