軍事協防之外,美國應重申台灣非中國領土,並承認台灣獨立現狀與國格
FAPA認為,美國在加強對台軍事承諾與合作的同時,亦應公開挑戰北京的「一中原則」,嚴正重申「台灣並非中國的一部分」;支持台灣人民擁有決定台灣地位與前途之自決權;並推動台美關係正常化,強化承認台灣主權獨立現狀及國格,最終實現台美正式建交。如此,才能有效對抗中國對台的軍事戰、法律戰、與外交戰。
